Women's emotions are a complicated thing. First our driving forces are different then yours. Then there are hormonal issues we have no control over. They truly make us irrational. I have come to terms with this and always give Lurch fair warning when I'm going a smidge mental and it would be a good idea for him to stay out of (h)arms way.

not a sure fire thing...after listening to my wife talk about how sweet it was when the ladies she worked with would get flowers at work from thier husbands, I figured I'd do the same. (since it seemed she was dropping hints she felt left out) BIG mistake! all was good before then...about 2-3 weeks of he11 afterwards proving I didn't do any thing wrong and was trying to cover it up. (when she got her roses, they filled her in on why they were getting thiers) it's now an inside joke, but it's also the only time in 15 years she's gotten flowers from me

See the problem is you broke the routine, You went above your daily expectation and well when you do that it seems to make you a target.

hehehehe thats why you always gotta do those tiny little things, and dont slack off. Leave a litte love note in her purse, or on her seat in the car for when she goes to work in the AM. Send her a text message in the middle of the day that says I love you. Mail a her a letter to your own address with no return address that just has sweet little things in it. Always kiss good night or if you are going somewhere.
