They are all great phones. So don't let anyone try and tell you otherwise.
I have an Iphone 4 and had the 3g. It is a great phone and i never get dropped call or any of that crap everyone is talking about.
Apple has one major thing going for it. The apps are designed tested and run on Iphone. Using iphone sdk and then tested for security, functionality and issues by apple to work on iphone. This means your apps work almost always and are safe and secure.
Some people say this means you can't get the apps your want. Well i haven't had a need really for an app that i can't find on the app store.
Screen is amazing the quality is amazing and IMHO the best on the market.
Battery life is good for a smart phone. I use the hell outa mine and it normally lasts the day.. mind you i stream music videos and use it for my gps on a daily basis.

OS is designed for one phone and one set of hardware making the OS way more stable.
The touch screen is the best in the industry hands down. meaning no slide out keyboard to bulk up the phone. which means no broken hinges and cases ect.
Cons the price is high but getting better and more contracts now with Verizon. the glass screen isn't the best at durability but a case can remedy that. which sucks cause i like the way the phone feels w/o it. I use an otterbox defender.
No upgradeable memory what ya get is what ya get.

The google operating systems are great they are really good for the guy that wants to tinker and tweek things around.
The screen on the incredible and x are amazing also great quality and such. The glass seems very scratch resistant but still a smart phone.
Lots of apps all over anyone can make them and apps are constantly being ported from other OS. making for lots and lots of possibilities.
Upgradeable memory w/in Hardware tolerances.
lots of companies carry them so prices are great on these.
Very integrated with google products.
as lots of companies are using the OS there is a regular multiple per year flow of phones coming into the market with the newest hottest fastest hardware.
Cons
apps aren't regulated really. lots of hacked , wormed, and viral issues with these due to no central processing/testing of the apps.
I dislike the huge huge screens. i don't need a 4-5" screen on my phone to much for me they don't fit well in my hands and i have large hands, they aren't comfortable in pockets either. this is my opinion.
Lots of companys use the same OS. so the opposite of Iphone. the google OS is not designed for a specific phone/hardware set up making it less stable. While all the companies try and set it up for their hardware it seems to come at a price of stability and smooth operation.
Touch screen operation is good but not great and i dislike the bulk of slide out keyboards.
plus the more moving parts the more to break.
These are my opinions they are all good phones with powerfull processors and good memory. The way my buddy who is has android phone says it... Iphone is for geeks that want smart phones and people that want to be cool that don't want to think about it. Android is for geeks that want a smart phone they can tweek and play with and for people that want to be the cool anti cool kid. The tech is getting better and better if you don't mind Big brother watching you.
