My family lives in Pottstown and Coatesville and told me it was pretty cold and they are about tired of the weather.

It really hasn't been a bad winter but w are not use to it being neg 17 then 50 a few days later.

snowbank to leave
my home today .

There is literally nowhere
to throw the snow anymore
and my back is too sore to keep doing it .

I guess I will shovel
what I can and wait
for the rest to melt .

Something similar happened in Milwauke a few years back when I was living there. There were 70 vehicles crashed because of slippery conditions. I'm sorry to say also because of a lot of poor judgement. You don't drive 70 mph if you can't see thirty feet in front of you.

Cold day here in iowa again roughly 10 right now. Still a ton of snow down. SUpposed to get more tonight or tomorrow...than rain like hell saturday high of 39.

Looking at the longer range forecasts, it seems that this week may have been the last of the cold for us. Spring is still a ways off, but I think winter is losing its grip.
