I just got home and saw this thread just now. I thought you became a US citizen.

I really think you guys should start using it on the entire bike. You've seen the result on mine. For those who haven't seen it, here ya go!!!

Mind you all, she's 2 years and 7 months old. Also, when I took the pic of the chain, I didn't clean it on purpose. This is after almost 5 hours of riding. I'm so glad I found out about Dupont Chain Wax (the one in a blue can) after I got the wheels. Maintaining the wheels is sooooooo much easier.

I did it all over.
Paint, plastic, inner panels, gauges, windscreen.
Shes smooth and silky.
Orange fresh !
gotta be at least 2-3 mph faster shes so slick !

All but the rubber(pegs and seats)

Please don't forget to do your helmet, too. By the way, I carry the Pledge wipes nowadays. It takes less room in the tank bag.

Red shows better than my black .
Your wheels still look better , no fair !

Plus the channels in your spokes are not as bad as mine .
I have deep channels as well as grooves on sides of spokes .
Took me like an hour or more for each wheel !

Your spokes look nice smooth and shallow , alot easier on old fingers for sure .

Simple green is an excellent cleaner but has no protectants in it.

Yes, I do ride her......A lot!!!


By the way, if there are a lot of bugs on the front of the bike and on your helmet, spray the Pledge on it directly and let it sit for a couple of minutes then wipe off. That's all you have to do.

Pledge is awesome I can't thank sleeper enough for sharing that

I've been using it on car/van wheels, too. If you have alloy wheels, you should use it on them, too.

No you must wash first to get the buildup off.
If you dont you will just be smearing the dirt around and scratch things.
I wash then blow dry for one mile at 80mph..
Come back and then get to polishing.

Blanca, I don't mean to get ahead of him but it's the M109 made by Suzuki.
You really need to go out and ride more so you can see other bikes. J/K

Suzuki Boulavard M90 i believe. I'm gonna have to take the pledge too....that is if i ever get home again...and if they ever get my paint right!
