To Wash Or Not

For all the guys who take pride in their bikes after a day/night of riding and all those bug splatters, do you wash your bike with soap and water or do you just re wax.

Good idea my buddy does is take pledge after every ride and clean the bike unless he gets caught in rain.

Wiper her down with a damp microfiber cloth after every ride. I wax mine every other weekend, wash with soap first of course to remove the old wax.

Water will not hurt you bike in the least

depends how dirty it is, if it's dusty I'll use a cleaner
if I get caught in the rain or REALLY dirty I'll use soap and water
then wax.

Wash with Megs crystal car wash stuff.
Dry with real chamois, not one of those fake POS
Wax with Megs Tech Wax paste by hand.
Dust after most every ride with dry microfiber towel.
For bug guts, road tar and other non-dust crap, Megs Quick detailer on a microfiber towel.

I clean mine with S100. Great product - spray it on, let it sit for a minute, then hose it off and dry the bike. it cleans everything from the tires to the windscreen and leaves no residue behind.

spray on "Suzuki Wash" then rinse,
towel dry (using 2 towels)
ride for about 5 mins (blow dry)
put on rear stand, Turtle Wax "ICE", clean & wax chain

walla............ you're ready for another ride

For goodness sake DO NOT put water on your bike. That way when you get ready to sell it you can truly say "never wet"
