To upgrade or not??

So I haven’t had my 05 for too long, and I do really enjoy it but I found a 2012 for a great price and might have a buyer for the 05.
The 2012 has only 6000kms and is as new condition, I’d have to get pipes (extra $) for it at some point. I’d be out an extra 2500$ to get it, probably worth it.

I’ll take any advice you guys have.

Gen 2 is an all round better bike, except maybe for styling, and that's subjective. Go for it!

I traded it in at a Kawasaki dealer in Hawkesbury ON in 2012 on an '08 B-King they had. Interesting it made its way from the Quebec border down to Niagara Falls but bikes do get around. I brought the B-King with me when I moved from Ottawa to Victoria in 2013 but it's gone now... still out here but no longer mine. When I saw my old (your new) Busa on Kijiji earlier this year I was excited enough to drop the seller a line but I'm guessing he thought I was a troll or scammer or something since I was getting in touch from across the country. Bike still looks amazing and seriously, I'd have it back in a heartbeat.
