Soooo Sick of Snow!

...you just missed it Red,I was out front plantin' flowers with mama(naturally I had the shovel)in a sleeveless T-shirt,and actually broke a damned sweat.

Well I guess if there is one thing I can think of that we have over you, it is that we will never run out of water like you are going to.
Being so hot and dry (it never rains in Southern Ca - song lyrics) your lakes and rivers are running pretty dry and a lot of your crops are in danger.
So I guess there just might be trouble in paradise ???

Global warming, if it exists, will effect you way before it effects us.

Living in IL for the first half (or more) of your life I'm sure you already know everything I stated above is true.

Heck if Global Warming is really true then someday maybe we won't have snow in the winter time and you will be on fire. ???
So be careful with your bragging of perfect weather, it might bite you someday. Or at least I'll be the one that gets to brag.

It's 18°F with a 1° windchill and a Winter Storm Warning - Sure glad My Busa is in the house with me. Wouldn't want her to freeze to death. :beerchug:
I guess who ever came up with Global Warming never here of Arctic Air from Canada.

Oh well Jeff, try to keep cool - we don't have to try.

I was never real big on the whole global warming thing, and we'll probably have enough water to see me through my lifetime(another 10-15 years?)so not really concerned with that either.:laugh:On a positive note, they're having Test & Tune tomorrow and Street Legal Drags Sunday at our local track in Fontana(28 miles away)so think I'll hop on the bike in the morning around 8:30 and jam up there for a few hours...hope it's not too warm.

Be sure to drink plenty of water and stay hydrated. Us ice cubes worry about you.

And take lots of pictures and create a new post

Will do bros.Weather here the last few weeks has been unseasonably warm for us,usually in the 30's at night and 60's during the day(our "winter" is usually my best time of the year for ridin',we cook out here June through Aug./Sept. when temps can hit 106+[though the humidity stays low, usually 8-15%]...that's when I'll envy you guys ).

We did get a little snow out here a couple of months ago, usually dusts the hills in the backgrounds a couple times every year but first I know of ever actually getting in our yard(loved it,but was gone by noon and was bummed).

Well looks like there will be some more this weekend! Adding insult to injury at this point. Don't miss it one bit.

Me either bro, already 61 here @ 8:00AM and gonna ride up to Fontana("Fontucky" to the locals )in a bit and see who's at the track.

On another note, bought On Any Sunday:The Next Chapter this morning and watching it now, pretty decent.

Went to Fontana...and forgot the camera.:laugh:Didn't miss much though, just a test & tune day and mostly cars with a couple Busas(only 3 bikes there)running 8.40's.Only stayed 2 hours 'cause...and I hate to say it ...but it got a little warm(about 10 acres of asphalt and no shade anywhere).

Would a weather report from Australia help ?

Went South today.
A lazy 443k's (275 miles)
Met some mates at the cafe near Queen Mary Falls.

Beautiful weather, a little bit cooler, and some great roads and scenery.

I think the weather report from Australia only makes me wish I could be there right now. Almost no snow here but it's 7 degrees before wind chill.

still going at it here

Erie just dropped out of 1st place again this year for most snow fall...but we are not far behind.

Lake effect snow and white out conditions with lots of accidents and very slow moving traffic. :banghead:

So I'm doing the only thing I can think of, to remove the winter blues - Working on my Busa.
Removed the rear fender for cleaning, drilling and wiring.

Only ten more days in February :cheerleader: Hurry up Spring. :please:
