I guess I frequented hayabusa.org a little too much from work, as today upon trying to go to the site, I get a message indicating it's blocked..

So, being the dedicated member that I am, I was wondering if there is an alternate URL that points to the site, other than hayabusa.org? For example, my site is beforethedarktimes.com, but b4thedarktimes.com also works

Or, a mirror linky would be great too- I tried hitting it by IP address and still got blocked..

Any help would be greatly appreciated, as this site helps keep me sane during my daily grind..

I always access the static version of the site with my PDA:
https://www.hayabusa.org/static/

Still has the original name in it so I doubt it'll work but it's worth a try.

Or try hiding behind a proxy with something like this:
http://www.anonymizer.com/

Basically you'll be going through their site to access this site. Only problem is if you pay to subscribe and they wise up and block that site you'll be screwed. There used to be plenty of free sites like that so do some google searching and maybe you'll stay one step ahead of the guys in control.

If you can install software on your work PC, that's better yet as there's plenty of freeware that will allow you to access anonymous proxies.

I'm working from home today, but will be trying ALL of these in the office tomorrow. Thanks guys!

My job gets VERY good productivity outta me, and it would be diff if I was sitting at my desk watching PORN or something.. But blocking the ability to talk to you good people is just unacceptable.

I'll bet the block was done by some dirt merchant who had to sell his bike 'cause his wife told him too, so now he's holding it against anyone with a bike

And a BUSA at that!!!

I asked our IT guys to unblock it... He did... Guess it depends on how cool your IT dept. is... Our IT dept is a bunch of younger guys who are kinda cool... Although they were pissed when I figured out how to by pass the codes for color printing charges...hahahaha

They might not have blocked the actual web address. They usually block the IP address so it is harder to try and get around, so another name that points to the site prolly won't work. The proxy suff may work though.

A fellow friend who rides told me this AM, "but I'll bet you can still hit the Harley sites.."

I've had no need to check tho to be honest.
