I was riding to work this morning and saw about 4 different people on scooters. I think that its cool that people want to save money on gas an what not. The thing I have a problem with is that none of these people had atleast helmets on.

Do they not think just because they are not going a 100mph that they do not need gear ?!?!? Oh well, their loss

around here people don't wear helmets either. In md 50cc doesn't need
insurance or bike permit to ride. whats going to happen when they run
into another driver? I'm not going to claim the damage they do on my
insurance.

I've considered the liability issue, so I got insurance on my Zuma. I always wear a helmet although I admit in decent weather summer it's a halfshell.

I like the 50CC scooters on the controlled access highways...grip it and rip it

Some of them will exceed 35MPH

I hate that all the little kids ride them down the middle of the road. I wasn't even allowed to ride my bicycle on the road. Now these "tweens" think they own the road with no respect to other drivers.
