Schnitz Stand

Just installed the Schnitz side stand. Only problem was the size of the hole that the retaining bold was to go through. It was 11/32, but I needed to drill it out to 25/64th. For this kind of $$, I would expect a part that would fit w/o modifications.

Still, I'm happy with the part.

Ok, first of all *I DON'T HAVE A SIDE STAND PROBLEM" There is nothing wrong with the factory stand. If you are careless, anyone can drop a bike off of any stand.

So why did I buy it......no clue, just looked good to me.

I have not talked with Schnitz on the size issue, not my job this year.

The stand does not seem to go back as far as the stock unit, guess I could look again.

Seems like the high $$$ solution to the sidestand problem.

How many $$$ are we talking about?

Adjustable length as well, for all those lowered Busa's out there!

Have you given your feedback about the size of the hole to Schnitz?

Oops, too soon on asking for price, found it myself, $180, you're right, for that amount you expect the hole to be properly sized!

Does it move further in towards the bike when in the up position, or does it stick out as far as the stock unit?
