Sadly I had to say goodbye

I sold my sweet busa recently I am sorry to say. Ive had her for 12 yrs and 60k heart thumping miles! That bike was a part of me it felt like. Heck it lasted longer than my first marriage. lol. And I loved it more...lol. But after last years accident I found that I could not ride the bike without a lot of pain so it was for the best. Didn't put 500 miles on it this year so I knew it was time. From the first time to the last time I twisted the throttle it was a serious rush. Im still gonna hang around here. Maybe once I get an overhaul done on myself with a couple of surgeries I can buy another one. Assuming Zuk gets off of their collective butts and releases a new G3. If not I will probably get a cruiser in a year or 2. I want to say thank you to all of the people on this forum that have helped me over the years with different issues and good advise. This forum is a great resource for a busa owner. I appreciate the work and dedication that MC Mustang and countless others have put into this and the past busa bashes and such. Only attended one but it was still fun. Next time I'm thinking TURBO!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to hear about having to let her go. I hope your pains can be taken care off and you heal completely.

Sorry that you let her go - but glad that you are sticking around!

Just because you sold the bike does not mean, you cant hang around,,, Best Wishes!

thanks all..! like the terminator said...ill b back. hopefully on a new g3 busa. id hat to get a ninja. besides it would be weird since i got a busa tattoo. lol. one of the things that made it a little easier was that i sold it to a guy i work with on occasion with escorts and such who is a Motor Officer in Greene County near me. i know he will take care of it. when he took it out and started riding it he was amazed at the power it had. And the best thing is that he lives next to Brock.lol He said he showed it to him and he likef it. i told him that he should take it ovet to him and let him have a go at it and see if it needed tweaking. Nice to live nect to the guru man himself. i said heck all the performance parts are all his anyway...lol

Good looking bike and I'm certain the next owner will cherish it as well like we all do.

Sad you had to give it up but like you said, another one is in your future. Heal up and get back out there but don't leave us.

Hang in there, no reason to leave. Just consider this your resting period between laps.
