Recall question...

I know there was a recall for some ignition wiring thing... but was there one for the clutch bolts on the K8's?

The dealer said they had already done the recalls on mine when I bought it but who knows. I have been told fibs before.

well i have about 13k on the bike now if the bolts where loose i'm sure i would have found out about it by now...

None of these two happens necessarily.First one you"ll feel it for sure....second one ....you"ll hear it(rare though)Suzuki dealers know all the details

My 08 fell in the range for both of those recalls
However, I have the punch mark on my VIN tag for the clutch bolts
and I just read the notice for the ignition wiring and looked at it myself, its easy enough to check.

The clutch bolt service alert is real...my O&B 08 was making noise...the bolt was loose...the dealer serviced it without hesitation... back on the road enjoying the 100 degree days
