Ignition Switch Recall

So I went to the dealer today to have the rectifier recall completed and they informed me that my bike needed another recall done as well. It is Bulletin 2A05 stating that some ignition switch leads may be routed incorrectly which can cause a malfunction with the switch. Some units may need to be replaced, luckly mine didn't need to be replaced but the wires did need re-routing. I don't know if the recall bulletin is old, but I figure I'd atleast let others know.

thats a old recall, i took my bike in 2 wks ago for the rectifier and i also had to get my ignition fixed also because it had never been done, the ignition recall fix took about 2 hrs

I believe the ignition recall is only on the 08 models.

Mine has a brain fart once in a while, I'm thinking about looking into this seriously. I asked about it and the clutch bolt issue and was told it had been taken care of when I bought the bike, but every once in a while lately I push the button and nothing happens.

Mine is acting up but the dealer said it doesn't qualify.
