is there a place on the net where you can put in your vin number and see if the recalls to my bike were done? im pretty sure they were but id like to make sure. thanks

I don't know of a website but you can call Suzuki with vin at 714-572-1490(CA) and they should be able to tell you. Otherwise call you local dealer.

Then what up with the 02 recall on the board? My dealer says it hogwash.

'02 wasn't a recall ... just a service advisory ... I think someone posted the service advisory for starter issues I believe on the board ... I've got a copy of it somewhere if you can't find it.
