2014 left over purchased July 31st 2015 is when I rode home on a Friday afternoon in Houston traffic .
Put 1500k down to hold it for two weeks while I sold my other bikes . On the 31 st put another 4600 down , and financed the balance of 6,894 for 4 years . However paid it of in 2 years . Spent 6 months preparing to purchase by saving side job money , and sold one of my favorite guns a Sig P238 HD . Every night my thoughts were on the bird of what to do , and what it would be like . Had never ridden a Hayabusa , but many ZX11's ZX12's , and ZX14's

It was nearly stock in this photo , and getting ready for my first trip on Ram Jam .

Sat on a copper '99 at the Dec '98 bike show. Wanted one then but had 5 bikes I was hardly riding at the time.

Boss Lady gave me the green light to do some serious Hayabusa shopping spring 2018..found the Bumblebee at a bike shop an hour and half away, drove down, checked it out and liked what I saw...paid cash and brought it home in the pick up.

Wife and I stopped for lunch on the way home and someone offered me more than what I paid for it....didn't even get home and could have sold it.

The previous owner got hold of me and he is a great guy who was on this forum, we have been in contact ever since.

My first was a 2001 which I traded in on a 2005. Rode the '05 until I was seduced by the comfort of a B-King so the 'Busa got traded in. I rode the King for awhile then sold it after my daughter was born so I could fund building a Triumph sidecar rig that I could share with her. I missed the B-King though so eventually did a trade-deal a couple of years later with a guy selling one for a TL1000R I had plus some cash. I rode that B-King until I met Rubb who convinced me to let him have the bike plus some of my cash for his 2009 Hayabusa as it had become superfluous to his needs after he bought his turbo bike. I enjoyed the '09 but one day decided that I was getting frustrated idling the thing around our over-congested island so sold it to a local cop who still has it.

I still window shop Hayabusas online, even chatted to a local Honda dealer last fall who had a clean white 2009 on their lot, but so far haven't pulled the trigger on anything. Don't think that I wasn't dreaming turbo though when Rubb posted his "feeler" post about selling his! F me, I need that like I need a concrete hat! The congestion is worse than ever here and isn't likely to get any better...

I bought my first Busa on 8 May 2008 "mother's day" and fell in love. Road all my life but nothing compared to the beast and still nothing compares today. Was bored in Summer of 2016 when I stopped to kick tires are the local stealership and bought my 2015 Gen II as I new Busa was lonely in the garage. As you can see, its no wonder the boys had the itch ASAP to get their own. My youngest MVAgusta owner is already eyeing the new 2020 Red Busa in Denver and will just have two bikes like dad. No particular order but we love our machines just like all your Orgrsters! Disabled Vet, Divorced, Doing the Best I can Dad!

Drooled over the 99 Busa in the bike mags, the stats for it were almost identical to the 91 VFR 750 I was riding at the time(except for the crazy power and top speed).
I sat on it at Daytona Bike Week and that was all she wrote,,, and ordered it soon as I got home.
10,200 out the door from Tracy J's in Rainbow City Alabama.
Been my ride ever since.
