PLEASE...DO THE KICKSTAND MOD

Has anyone done the mod and still had it fall?

What's nice about this mod is that i notched mine alittle more than the pic above so that when my bikes lowered&strapped all the way it'll still lean on the stand slightly.

Before I do the kickstand mod to make it more "fold resistant," I'm curious if the bike should lean this far over in the first place. The pic below shows the bike on her kickstand. Bike is stock and no mods have been done. There does seem to be some play in the kickstand hinge, but nothing...

I just bought my 2023 Busa and every bike I own a keep the bike in first gear when parked to prevent it from rolling forward and hitting the ground. With that said the kick stand mod is adds another layer of safety

I have an 04 and I haven't done the kickstand mod...but I figure if I got that front wheel turned and locked (like I do everytime I get off it) then I have no worries. Should I be worried?

Just pull the bike back an inch or so after leaning it over onto the stand.
