Pilots or shinkos

hi all,

i love pilots... both for bike, and car. awesome, sticky, well made tire. not too good for wear though.

i run shinkos on my bike. if cash was no object... pilots!

I've run the 2CT before. Michelin makes great tires, there's no denying it. I love my power ones.

I use Pilot Power2 2ct's on mine. Have never had a problem with grip, and I get 6-7k out of them.

I have used both the 005 and 009 Shinkos. I would not recommend the 005s as they wear quickly. The 009 is a great tire and I have been getting more than 10K per set on my VFR.

I ve run Shinko's on my Vmax and selection is limited. But they are hands down the best tire I ve put on my Vmax. Sticky at the track for sure. Now since I just bought a Busa, and I need tires, I ll try the Shinko's because of my past experience on my Vmax. Knowing that the Vmax is heavier and probably makes more streetable low end power then the Busa, I can't see how the tires would affect my riding style which is sans curves or heavy twisties. We'll see though....

I put a vote for Shinko's until I have it proven to me otherwise on my personal bike.
