Ok, first part here is to let you know I have some pics coming up soon. This girl from a modeling group emailed me about a post I had made on the site and asked if I would do some pics with her on the bike. I said sure. On Feb 1st if the temps are higher than 40 and there is no rain we're on. She plans to do import mag and maxim style pictures/outfits.
Second part of this. I'm looking to make one or two posters and offer them up for sale. Basically I'm trying to fund my website I'm trying to get up and running but personal cash is not "safe" enough to use at this point so I'm trying to build my website fund.
Anyway, what kind of poster would you want? Hayabusa oriented of course.
Options would be an Action Shot of the Busa on the road. A posed shot with a female (meh...), or a shot of a couple different Busa's lined up in some way. Finally, a shot of the Busa somehwere scenic such as the ones I've posted in the past. I wouldn't use one of my old pics. I'd go out on the hunt for the perfect pic in this case.
I guess really what I'm asking is... would it be worth it for me to mess with? I've made my own posters before. They are 20"x30" and high quality on heavy photostock paper. Not thin crappy poster paper. They would run just shy of $30.00 a piece. This is without me making much. Due to this I would have to order them all at one time or else the shipping costs would actually have me in the red. If I were to get enough orders for them I could drop the price to $25.50. Thats definatly not much money coming to the fund but it gets some 'Busa posters out there.
Once again, these are high quality (photo appearance) prints. I also have to order them either gloss or matte finish. Which would go over better? I can't mix and match. They'd either all have to be gloss or all matte.
I can also tell you that Wal-Mart sells cheap decent frames for 20"x30" prints. I have all of my own posters that I've made in these frames. I always buy basic black plastic but they have different colors.
Well, I'm outta here. I'm getting dragged to see "Torque". Yee-haaa....... yeah.
