So, we had a group of 11 of us get out yesterday...some of the core group and a couple of new faces.

Here are the 'busa shots from Palomar. Jay's yellow 'bus is a 99.

The weather was gorgeous, the grades were in pristine condition, and the South Grade (tight side // our playground) was essentially devoid of other vehicles while we were there.

The next issue of Rider's Review magazine is going to be a focus on Palomar, and my submission will be an article (with other pix, of course) of Rick Clemson, Palomar's fabled photographer.

Hey, sunshine...it was absolutely fantastic.

I had some new tires put on, as I think I might have mentioned...this is the first time I'm trying the Bridgestone BT-016's, which have quite a good reputation. They seemed to do the trick on our 'big mountain,' but long-range remains to be seen!
