this cross-border stuff is just BS, in my opinion. What if I, as a Canadian, with a bike made for the CDN market moved to the U.S.? Would I be SOL? I doubt it.. It's all a lot of crap. Tell your dealer he's a, well, I won't post what I'd call him, but you get the idea. What a load of shi-te, I tell ya. You know, the freekin' borders are supposed to be opening up more, not shutting down... wtf?

I always thought
the warranty was from Suzuki.. not the indevidule dealers~
Seems to me it should be honored in any country no matter
where the bike was purchased~ Same thing as far as any
service goes~ The bikes are built the same anyhow.. aren't
they? Maybe some differance in emission control BS, but that
can always be bypassed anyway~ I don't get it either...

I did try looking across the Mexican border also, Banditoo~
Only problem was.. I couldn't read their freakin web pages!

I'm now thinking of waiting to see how the red SE looks in
person~ I only have a deposite on it that really just gives me
first dibs when they show up~ If I don't like the shade of red
it has on it.. I'll just get a basic 04 model and look into
getting the Blk/Blu body from the great white north~ Just
need to try my best to be patient for another few weeks~
If that's possible for me... I may end up just walking in there
on Friday and get me a bike~ I've waited a year to sale my
truck to get this Busa~ Now I have no truck and a poop load
of Busa Bux burning my pockets~ I want my Busa dammit!!

I bought my nike in Canada 2001 black/silver.
I live in the States now.
She got stolen and recovered after 3 days.
The disc lock was still on the front disc.
I was insured in Canada and brought the bike to a dealer motorcycle mall in Belleville, NJ. They had to replace all the plastics, no problems and
they did a great job.
I need to register the bike here.
I gonna take some liquid paper and make new mark on the speedo
