Kawi = comfort hyperbike, better straightline rider

Busa = sporty hyperbike, better straightline/twisty combo rider

Of course I have no problems w/ my Gen 1 in comfort, unless I'm going 300+ miles - then the wrists get slightly sore, but that's it.

Looks like brakes were the biggest diffference in performance...just upgrade to SS lines and HH pads on Busa and your good to go.

They didnt do an oil change with filter comparsion. ZX wins!

I think I spent a month jumping on each bike at the dealership. I like the roomy feel to the Busa over the ZX. What really brought me over was the fact I owned two GXSR1100's back in the day and I just loved'em.

If I could have I would have bought both

Busa is easier to work on{with exception to oil changes} and has a huge aftermarket.

The article seems ever-so-slightly slanted toward the ZX-14.

My thinking is, it's always easy to take shots at those at the top of the heap.

"ever so slightly"? Did you read the end? You think advertising dollars has anything to do with these "tests"? All in all, it was a very good read.

I have to say the comparison seemed pretty fair to me.

In the end, it came down to appearance to me. I still think the Busa has a more polished, quality look to it.
All in the eye of the beholder.

Too many people have commented on the smoothness of the ZX engine for me to argue now I guess, but I must say I didn't feel any difference when I rode both side by side.

If you're 6ft or over, like me, the Busa seems less cramped. Shorter riders seem to like the ZX more because it is more upright.

In the end...tiny differences indeed!

Translation: Scarcasm as humor...

...but in answer to your question...yes I did read it.
