As most of you know, both me and my 05 Gixxer took a detour out through the bushes at about 70 knots. I was full race leathers and didn't get a mark on me but my poor Gixxer looked pretty sad when I took her home. Didn't hurt the bike itself but the plastic really took a beating. Everything got barked up except for the left lower side panel.

So, I got myself some plastic weld and went to work. After buying a few pieces off ebay and welding the rest up, I now have her road ready! I crashed it on September 30th and bought a new K6 that same week. Just couldn't stand the thought of being without a gixxer for long! So I've spent the past few months aquiring parts and pieces through ebay as well as a fairing stay and subframe extention from my dealer. I actually have less than a grand into putting her back on the road. Now I have a great stunt/track bike. I dropped one tooth up front and two up on the rear. I'm ready to Rock & Roll!

I'll snap some photos for you guys as soon as the rain lets up enough for me to get that puppy outside. The rain my deminish in the morning but looking for heavy rain in the afternoon. I am anxious to get her out for a little fun ASAP.

I've spent my evening in the garage with my Husaberg. It seems she came from the factory with carb jetting to lean so it would pass emissions in the states. Husaberg gave me new jets along with a few other goodies for the carburetor and it should run strong. I got the job done tonight so I'm anxious to ride her as well. It's a bummer when you buy a new bike and have to disassemble it in your garage before it's first oil change

Anyway, I'm anxious to that that little toy functioning properly as well. That Husaberg is going to be a kick in the arse to play on. It's a superb wheelie machine. Well, until it starts to sputter while the front wheel is aloft. At that point the game is up. I hope the new jetting will cure that problem? We'll see?

I'll do my best to get some pics on this post tomorrow!
