Finally got my first hands-on with a new GSXR 1000 saturday and came to the conclusion it is the 1K for me. I was eyballing a 10R, but the Gixxer feels much better for me. It's still microscopic, but fits me better than the 10R. It's kind of a homely beast, but one fine piece of engineering. Love the ultra-narrow waist. Not replacing the Busa, just expanding the fleet. Now I just have to cough up the dough.

Good luck! Think I will wait and see what next year's line looks like and whether the all-black is available in the States. That would be pretty tempting!
