What is your point? Do you think she requested that be part of the story? The media is going to report it because it sells advertising, not because it is relevant, except to the radical few who believe there is some sort of "Gay Agenda".

Personally, I don't care care about gay marriages - But, I do understand peoples difficulties with respect to their religious beliefs... If your're told your whole entire life this isn't right and proper, then you just might feel awkward when confronted with this prospect. Many gays have trouble confronting their own feelings and morays; I don't understand why people think this is an easy concept for people to come to terms with.

And so called religious folks who are ready to judge and send gays to hell bother me. I'll try to do my best and let "god" sort it out on judgment day!

People feared the same thing with Kathy Whitmire. Even though she never said she was a lesbian, the fact that she lived in Montrose and never remarried after her husband left or died(I can't remember which), just kept people in constant wonder.

they like to tell you that god says homosexuality is an "abomination"....leviticus 18:22 and 20:13.....

yet will blatantly ignore leviticus 24:17 "And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death."

or

leviticus 24:21 "And he that killeth a beast, he shall restore it: and he that killeth a man, he shall be put to death. "

Actually, I could care less which way she goes as long as she remains discreet and doesn't use her office to push the gay agenda. My point was that the media (both rabid liberal and rabid conservative) WILL make an issue of it. Actually, feel same way about SC Gov. Tiger, on the other hand, was a public figure, being paid handsomely for his squeaky clean image. It's going to be a long fall for him.

my post was about the hypocrisy of using the "word of god" as justification for hatred of bigotry.....

yet ignoring the "word of god" when it goes against a person ideals

and i cited a few examples....from the "good book" as it is sometimes called.

Because gays are typically liberals. They will push to legislate gay rights and other far out "progressive" agendas.
