Putting dirt bikes aside (aren't they made for crashing?):
I fell down road racing on my ZX600R on Fourth of July weekend racing in Middle Weight Superbike at Loudon. Instead of sliding that time, I cartwheeled. Oops!
Broke 3 ribs, collarbone, right ankle, left knee was torn, cracked ball and socket in right shoulder and shattered the right scapula. Other than that I was fine.
Nearly All. The Fjr1300, and ZX11D only fell over. R6S Is the only one that I can remember never fell over or crashed.
Serious accidents were others faults.
Crashed bird after ABM / LSL Bar kit installed doing a U turn. The hand got caught under right mirror pinning throttle wide open in 1st gear. Pulled clutch in and tried to catch it with my left { shorter leg} but missed. Over we went tossed me 12 feet @ near zero mph. Smacked 600 dollar Shoei helmet, and 1400 in body damage to RJ.
This was a uphill U turn at a T intersection in the country.
