IF they could keep the price under $20k I might just be in on this one...
But, I really don't have any inside info, just speculation!

There's no reason that the price should be more than 15k . I think thats a great idea!

SS Lines
Wave Rotors
Lots of Chrome or All Black
Team up with Yoshimura and provide a 4 into 2 into 1 pipe (or 4-2-2)
Add a PCIII
HIDs
Integrated Taillight vs stalks.

Don't have $20k, but would be nice to dream

Why this idea is a waste of time

1) They'll put on an exhaust - none of you will like it
2) They'll add some carbon - none of you will like it
3) They'll put some small mods on - none of you will like it
4) The paint scheme - Ewww - none of you will like it
5) Those different coloured wheels - none of you will like it

Point is - Busa owners are a fickle lot, who like to mod "as individuals".... so why bother if you were Suzuki....?

LOL

Anything the factory does will be minimal. They're so tied at the balls with government regulations that they really can't deliver what they want to.

Even if they could, I wouldn't want to pay the premium they would put on such small things. I build my own bikes and much rather keep it that way.

That's America, build it the way you want it ... yourself.

On the other side of the coin... some factory installed items usually are better or cost prohibitive to install by the end user.
ABS,TPM, Cruise Control, etc.
With price competition the way it is, expensive items are not likely.
Suzuki has a price set for MSRP the designers and engineers have to meet that price.
In their eyes we are a different lot, we always add on and modify.

Here is a different approach. One of the most sucessful bikes Suzuki (n)ever made was the 7/11. The GSXR1100 motor jammed into the lightest (at the time) 750 chassis made, was the most potent combination of the day. If they could stuff the 1340 motor into the GSXR1k at the factory, you would have a 450 lb 200 HP bike that nothing could touch. Nothing.

well...... think Yamaha beat them to it.......
detuned to 200rwhp

VMAX stock is 197 hp crank, ~ 168 rwhp. Shaft drive not as efficient as chain. Plus the thing weighs 700 lbs wet, has a 4 gallon gas tank and limited range.

I really wanted to love the VMAX. I followed all the rumors and waited for years for a better VMAX that could handle and stop. When this came out, especially at 18K with a special order process, I bought the K8 Busa. No regrets.

I'm not in to the limited production, high priced bikes. I'm pretty happy with the K8 so far.

A few suggestions:

- Better brakes
- Built in shelf above guages for electronic device (radar detector).
- Add a digital speedo in the center section.
- Add a digital temp gauge in the center section - how hard could this be?
- Shift light that is higher in the line of sight.
- A bright light indicator that isn't so bright.
- Complete tuner software - label it for off road use or whatever other disclaimer is needed.

1) Factory turbo, but need some fly components in the turbocharger. Variable vane and ceramic ball bearings. I don't even want a whiff of lag.

2) Bore and stroke it to 1500cc keep it running its best on 87, and slap on a 240 tire from Diablo.

Yeah what he said:laugh:Then make the A and B modes tuneable and the C mode could be the kiss my :moon: good bye unrestricted mode. Disclaimer: All withe the flick of a hidden switch only benounced to the owner upon purchasing

Aim the limited busa more toward the strip and not the street, longer, lower, more rubber on rear 200-240 6.5rear wheel width. Suzuki made a Terry Vance replica of his GS1000 Pro Stocker for the street long ago.

I just bought my 08 a couple months back, so I wouldn't be in the market for a new one.
However, if they made something special based off the same plastics and frame, AND we could buy the factory specialty parts to put on our existing GenII's
That would be very very cool
Like OEM HIDs, I'd buy those and put them on my bike.
or Factory single sided swing arm, or Suzuki ultra-light wheels
stuff like that, hell yea
