Limited production run?

I was just wondering if anyone knows how many Busas were made this year. I have been told from a few dealers that it's a limited production run but of how many I don't know.

I read a couple of months ago in a Brit magazine(BIKE) that there would be 1,500 lucky owners. I dont know if there is any truth since I have seen VIN's run as high as
2000 something at the Hayabusa registry, It also appeared that the lowest numbers were in England. mine is 929

I got number 89 call that one weird.

Heard around 2500-3000 for the USA, 1500 for UK, so I would bet that no more than 5000 world wide.

I got number 95 ( red Black ) and my borther got 76. One around here got 2400 ( somtingaround that number, dont recall but Ill check later)

here in holland are 120 busa sold, so i read in the paper today ,and for the end of the year there will be 150 owners here if everythink turns well in the matter of vorbidding suchs bikes as the busa!!lets hope so :}

Mine is #1088- I live in Southeast Pennsylvania (Black and Grey) I have 2000 miles and absolutely great luck.

My Busa is #2100. She was purchased a month ago in the SouthEast US.

The last two bikes my dealer got in were s/n 4013 & 4015. It would appear that the US production was around 5000 or so.
