Kawaski Voyagers

Seems like a well thought out quality bike with a killer power plant for
a really good price...all equals one of my favorite words...value.

I like the blue one too, but I think I'm leaning towards the necked version...
course the significant other may stear me in the more "loaded" model
direction

Man I am so ready to ride one....oh please oh please oh puhleease have
both models availible for demo in daytona

I truely love the 109 power plant but I swear they let whoever designed
the B-king gas tank design the whole C109R versions. The bike is HUGE and
heavy. I picture this Japanesse engineer at about 6'10" and 240 looking
at the C109R and going "what....." 109 great motor but even it can't
overcome the mass of the bike.

M109 smokes, about 100lbs lighter...not my style though.
Curb weight M109R = 764lbs C109RT = 885lbs (pig)
Vulcan 1700 classic = 760 lbs

That's what happened to me!

I wanted the Stratoliner. Jailbait said no, the Venture. Rest is history.

Yes, well thought out. If a downside, and it's a small one, the fuel range might be low (5.3 gallon) but it does have the six speed transmission which could make up the difference. A heel / toe shifter would of been nice also.

If you get one a full report please. Remember one thing. Don't park downhill. No reverse and they are heavy. Trust me.

Figure out what the little slide switch in the lower fairing might be? Picture 24. A vent perhaps?

I love my 109 lowered and derestricked (seen 150 on the spedo @ 7100RPM). But the Kawasaki Nomad version looks nice, bags are very handy on long trips. I am looking hard at it.
