I don't think you will be able to tell a difference, but you will have a reusable filter.
It's an easy upgrade, so if you have $60 burning a hole in your pocket, go for it.

That's a personal choice, but from what I've read on here, no. The stock filter is very good and actually better than the K&N talking performance :thumbsup:

That was the point, no extra cash but willing to put it forward in the name of better running/performance. The reusable part is good however.

Get a BMC race air filter, its just like a K&N but I have seen better power gains with them from a custom tune. Its a little pricey but worth it $70-$80.

If your not doing anything else with the motor, the Stock Air Filter really can't be beat. But, if you just have to spend more money, buy one :beerchug:

Nah, stock is fine. I like the go better than the show and heck, nobody sees my air filter but me anyhow....:thumbsup:

Got lucky, when i purchased my bike they included a K&N filter. I have had no issues at all.

True I put a Piper Cross Race in mine and to tell you the truth I can't tell any difference. It was a want and not a need.:thumbsup:
