Tried that link again but this time with Norton Antivirus disabled and my speed more than doubled. Having Norton active or inactive on other speed test sites doesn't seem to make a difference?

I pay for 5 Mb cable service from Charter and tonight pukked 3978K or pretty much 4.0Mb as tested on Toast.net using the text and picture speed check.  I have pulled as high as 6.5 and as low as 1.97 on this connection...  I have DSL at work and am lucky to pull 164K on that same test.
