If the (KING) Busa didnt exist what sportbike would you more than likely buy??? ( besides a DUCATI 996 or 999 )

To me: one of the most Beautiful, well put together bikes i have EVER ridden!

If the busa didn't exist I would have kept my 01 Honda 929RR and then probably would have traded it in for a new black ZX10R when they came out.

Busa is NOT a track bike..
The CBR is NOT a touring bike..

Busa is a two-up eaaasy..
Try THAT on the CBR..

..200.000 miles life target on the CBR..
..budget for service on the CBR..


Remember: this is a ONE LITER bike, that has 170hp on the flywheel!

Probably a 12R for me, simply because I have owned a few of the racer reps (Gixxer 1000, 954RR) and they're just too doggone tiny for me to be comfortable over long distances.

The Blackbird replacement (whenever it comes) would be my pick over the 12R, but since it's not here yet . . .

We would grab a Yamaha FJR 1300 and start the mods. Two up riding makes for a happy couple.

No Busa, then it would be a zx-12 or a BlackBird (whi9ch ost likely would be a GreenBird), both good bies afte was don with them. First choice, as long as we are in a dream world, would be the K2 Turbine.
