I have 08 Hayabusa and I change my oil and oilfilter, every year or every 1000 km. I using Motorex 10w/40 semisynt and K&N oilfilter. It have look like is quite good oil from switcherland

do mine when it warms up and start riding in march or so. I only ride a few thousand a year though. amsoil 10/40

The question of how often to change your oil and what brand to use is just an opinion without your milege and maintanace to support a good oil to a bad oil.
