How much will you drink and still ride?

ZERO...Not worth the risk, not worth the possibilities for things to go really wrong. I don't ever want to be "That Guy" that killed, maimed or somehow injured another person because of some stupid act that did not have to happen.

Please note, this is in no way a statement against anyone who has differing opinions or chooses different options. My family was severely changed by a drunk driver and this is strictly a personal decision.

Ever since I got my busa.. I have had ZERO desire to go out with friends. I am becoming a loner and the only people I seem to hang with are other riders... I am ok with this, because my old friends went out to the same boring clubs and drank all the time...

.08 and that doesnt mean a cop wont arrest you at .04 seen it many times here in CA.

Think it totally through, are 12oz of beer worth the life of anyone? Let alone a $12,000 scoot?? One thing I've learned from my short time here is that the motorcycle we all ride is probably the most important of all material posessions to all of us. I choose the bike over the beer any day

In 18 years of riding I have never once had a drink and rode the bike.

I also will not consume if my daughter is with me. I've always believed that as adults we make our own choices........but as a child, they do what we say. And I have no right to make that decision on her behalf.

The MSF estimates that even the least amount of alcohol increases a rider’s chance of crashing five times. And a (still potentially legal) BAC over 0.05 percent increases chances to crash 40 fold.

I voted 1-2 because sometimes I do have one maybe two beers over a 1-2 hour period usually w/ something to eat. If I think I may be drinking during a stop I'll carry a breathalizer to make sure it's .00-.01 before riding again.

I still drive, as long as i'm not drunk. Driving with a little buss on a bike is a lot easier then when your in a car. When i'm on a bike and bussing a little, I just keep reminding myself to take it a little slower and give my self plenty of time. Also, avoid heavy traffic areas.

Well i just tried it out after so many years.I drank 3 mugs of beer,got high.After that i ordered a jug of green tea,went dancing till i sweat and went toilet a few times.I finished the whole jug of green tea.I went back to normal and ride back home.Got stop be police road block.They cant tell the difference PHEW.Can drink but must make sure you know your limit and how to get rid of the alcohol inside you.
