How fast have you gone with your BUSA?

I hit the speed limit once, but it was pretty scary; haven't done it again...

162mph and then I start to worry about the road, oncoming traffic, cops, animals, and lighting strikes. I can do faster, but have to have the right conditions to do it in.

I think 175mph is about the most the stock gearing on the driveshaft will allow, but thats turning about 9500-10000 rpm? I think?

Another reason to ride it to the limit to find out.

The bike isn't stock, got X-pipe, governor eliminator, air box mod. About 210hp

I think I got mine up to 55mph once or twice

130mph for me. It wasn't even breathing hard. I just rolled it open in 6th gear.

165 by GPS. I don't trust the speedo at all.

0 indicated on the speedo, full tuck (I think it wrapped around). The guys at the shop say it'll go even faster once I work up to getting it off the stands and graduate to training wheels.

restriction removed, gps indicated 203 mph, used nos to get the last 8-12 mph out of her and 18-40 gears

Heard a stock Busa can easily top 200mph if the rider is naked, better aerodynamics.

Rolled on the throttle on a nice open stretch of road the day I got it. Took it to 145. Fastest since has been 110.

hwy 20- i hit 168 on the speedo...so maybe thats around the 140-150ish mark??

that's great -cops on busa's. whatever it takes is a poor attitude - more high speed chasing is not the solution.

Perhaps high speed running is more the problem.
