I was blinded by headlights at night and went into an intersection too hot. Had the hard left made until I saw a flat piece of wood in the road go under my front wheel.
BLOOP - whole left side was toast
You feel terrible (mostly for the bike) but what do you do???

I have a habit of placing my helmet on the left mirror while getting ready. Not too long ago I was backing my bike up turning the bars when the clutch lever knocked the brand new helment onto to the roughly textured concrete. I'm watching this is horror, when my bike, just got away from me. Boom and bounce. I have the exact abrasions, total cost for replacement, $700 plus. Momentary lapse in brain function.....

It happens to the best of us ... after 27 years of riding I dropped mine going 3 to 5 mph into my driveway...

Great idea! This says yes I know my bike has a BoBo and im not going to try to hide it.
