I would not ride it with that much salt on the road. No way.

I saw a bike on the road on my way to work this morning here in Michigan(17 degrees). ??? I won't get mine out until we've had a couple good rains to wash all the salt off the roads.

I JUST got back from riding down to the gas station (Sandusky, Ohio) and the roads aren't bad at all. They're dry and I was able to scrub my tires nicely. I even leaned hard on a couple turns and she's good to go. I already like these Shinko 005's over the old Pilot Road 2's. A lot more grip, but I'm sure a lot less miles. Oh well, they should give me a month or so of riding. I'll be happy with that for the price.
