Hey Doug, thanks for sharing. I have followed that car in Super Chevy, and that's a real street car too. Lenco and all....lol First time I've seen him on video, Car works awfully well doesnt it.

My son has some video of my Nova doing some illegal tire burning, I'll see if he still has it. We did a few random rolling burnout. Maybe someday I can afford the twin turbos for my girl....

Hello Doug, Glad to see you back. I use to go to the Super Chevy all the time. I won one in Bristol once with my 63 ProStreet Nova. It was featured in 10 or 12 mags from that era. It was great times back then. They have one in Petersburg Va now and it has fell off over the years. Seems like people are not doing much with cars around here anymore. I hope all is well for you guys and I hope t get back that way soon and see ya'll again. Here is a pic of my car back then I had a 572 motor and it was one bad ride  The other one I had was the blue 67 in my sig. I liked how they had to drive to the tracks back then. I could drive mine just about anywhere I wanted at around 8 MPG . Fun times:cheerleader:

Sounds good Do you run it on the track? If so how fast has it gone? Nice looking car

No idea yet. The 468 that was in it for the vid developed a bottom end knock shortly after I bought the car. I just pulled that motor last week and the new 540 is at the machine shop. Dart Big M, Dart Pro 1's, Brodix Hvh intake, forged and built for boost. Should run decent I hope.

This car was my BABY for about 7 years and I just recently sold it to make space for the Busa. These modern cars just flat out RUN. It's a 97 Camaro SS, forged, blower cam, ProCharger at 14lbs of boost, 4000 stall, Strange S60 (Dana 60 rear). It was a BEAST. Ran 128mph in the 1/4 on 275/40-17 yokohama street radials that had 20k miles on em :D The car still only has 56k miles on it.

Had a few quick ,well not 10.5 fast but fast enough street cars.I'm really a chevy guy but have had several fords. The quickest(STREET CAR) was my lil 308 C.I. 94 Mustang running 10.40's through the muffs with a 1.36 60 6.58 1/8.Was running 10.90's with a 100 shot and a 4.10 gear, changed that to a 3.73 and 150 pills.Still 1000 foot she was done.Verter guy said it should have went 10.teens with less gear and tighter converter.Thing was a turd on motor lol. 11.90's 12.teen's....

I always liked the later mustang bodies a lot more then the earlier ones. We had a guy here that had a twin turbo car that was the world record holder at one time. That was one bad ride but of course he did not drive it on the street. It was a 10.5 car and just claimed to be a street car. I use to go to Greensboro NC for some of the street races but its ben a while. Thanks for the share.

Good GAWD I want that motor!!!!!

It was one bad motor. I built it when I was working at Kowalsky Machine here in Lynchburg. I didn't get to run it but a few times. It twisted the frame in the car and it got to where the doors would not shut that good. After that I just played around on the street with it and then built my 67. I hope to one day build or buy another car. Love the power you can make with the small engines now.:thumbsup:

Sold my baby about a year and a half ago. Blown 01 Bullitt. Ran 10.60's @ 130 right off the street. Aod trans, leather power seats, radio/cd. True street car(passed va state inspection). I thought the busa would fill the gap, but threads like this make me miss it even more:unhappy:

I understand what you mean LOL Every time I see a vid or a pic of a nice street car it really makes me miss mine. I keep seeing this car from Williamsburg, Virginia and have thought several times about contacting him about it. If I ever got another car I feel sure it would have to be a Pro Street car something like this one. One you have had one like this nothing else will do  I love this car!!

One of these days i'll build a chevy II, itching to real bad!!! I got the stang, this was the last one i built 91 camaro. Ran 11.90's all throttle on air ride and them 18" wheels  Had a 150 shot on it, never sprayed it at the track(wish i had) and thats at 5800ft elevation, Got to the point it was to radical to pass emissions and i got rid of it rather than hack it up and make a dedicated race car or detune it for street use
