drive train upgrades need for a stroker motor

I am building a stroker motor and I have heard the turbo guys upgrading their output shafts when they go above a certain power level. My question is, what needs to be upgraded when you go 1441 or more? Clutch, clutch basket, output shaft, etc? Any info on this would be great.

I haven't heard of anyone doing any work on the drive train because of a 1441 build.

Well the stage 1 guys ( 230-250 RWHP ) typically put 3 heavy springs in the clutch. If you're building a 1720 Stroker add three heavy springs.

Make sure you look into heavy duty sprocket cover. some have failed bc of adding heavier springs.

As for aspirated motors you are good up to 300 hp for the rods and such, as for the transmission, i would have any gearbox undercut no matter what, to start with!

A gen1 gearbox is undercut on all gears except 1st and 2nd gear from the factory.I think suzuki just got it wrong on 2nd gear.
