I've looked at this 1,000 times in retrospect. All of your speculations may, in any combination, be correct Doyle. I never leave the road in less it's a planned thing. I believe, now, I've done it twice. Did it once to avoid an over-correction by another rider, and now this. Joe (not Megawatt) was second back (last), and Aaron was right behind. Pardini touched on the looking back part. Shame on me, I know better, especially when I have Elena on the back. Either way, wrong. Could have been a bit of added weight steering for me also after the turn. Might have just been a fatigue factor....rider error just the same. I'll learn from it. It's always our fault, irregardless. Elena came through like a champ !.
BTW Doyle, you were more than just a Fantastic Ride Leader. You supported a fellow O-R-G Member with your generosity (We know who.), and you were exceptionally hospitable in your own backyard. It was absolutely my pleasure sharing the road with you Sir, my pleasure. If you make it down here to Vegas, you have dinner for you and the wife waiting.
