I have been using Honda chain lube ( kinda waxy ) and got 17K outa my stock chain and still o rings ... were fine I just felt like I should change it. ( A friend of mine bought it for $20 and put it on someone elses gixxer )

Since I installed the new chain I started using silkolene synthetic chain lube. It's very black and sticky, all kinds of road crap gets stuck to it. I am thinking of goin back to the honda lube. ( less mess )

What u guyz usin?

Thanx - K

What sort of Honda lube you using?

I've been a fan of Honda HP chain lube for some time now. It doesn't fling, but doesn't get all gummy like waxes do.

Mother Honda spends alot of money on her chemicals. They are top notch IMHO.

I have an automatic oiler called a "scottoiler"...works off the vacuum on the inlet manifold.....extends chain life and needs a refill about 1000 miles or so.
