stock cover from a dealer is only 80 + 10 for the gasket. you can get a woodcraft for 150 (comes with gasket) if you shop around.

20 min of pealing paint, used a razor blade to lift the edges and just lift up, comes up in about 6-10 by 6-7 inch chunks. eagle under paint. a little harder to get off around the edges, and bends. so anyone know what my next step should be? fill scrapes and sand? what should i use to fill? when its time to paint what will i need? i have no real experience with painting anything like this, will i need to buy a paint gun? can work ok?

oh i already know the history, that however is an eagles head, wrong shape, was a sticker kit that was never taken off, under the paint it was a red white blue theme.
