Did you do some cam work as well? It sounds like the rev limiter needs to be higher.

funny i thought the same thing about limiter, bump it up :)

No idea how its making power though, if its already falling off up top might not make sense.

Limiter does not need extending. Extending it would be useless as peak power is right at 11300/11400 indicated on dial. The bike just gets to the limiter pretty fast as it should.

KWS Pro Head
Large Cams
APE Springs and Retainers
Custom cut CP pistons
Block milled to meet custom spec
APE Oil pressure regulator and gear
HD Clutch springs
APE studs
Secondary's Removed
Dual PCIII's
Ignition Module with advanced timing in some of the rev range
KN Filter
Brock's Alien Head
Pump Gas
Break in oil for: 15 miles
Mobil One 4T Primary

Motor assembled and tuned by me.

Works very well when you have all the parts working together..

Starting on our own all motor 1441 version in a week shooting for 14:1 compression numbers will require custom pistons to start with.

Here is one of the dyno sheets. Stock Busa vs. this bike. At 60% throttle the bike on the dyno makes the same power as the stock busa does at WOT throttle. With a skilled rider there would be some serious seperation between the two bikes sitting side by side. Once this bike is lowered and with the chassis tuned it will be a really nice bike for straightline work.

You will have to chat with the owner. I will likely never see this bike again, we did ask to run it at a race or two. I would love to personally set it up for a few events but its not mine.

You will see a similar packaged bike with a few changes similiar to the above bike out there this season with my slow azz on it. Hopefully the changes gain me the 15+ HP this bike has over my stock head and stock exhaust cam 1441. If we can get the compression numbers where I want them 14:1, add a CNC head Vance & Hines or KWS and larger dual cams it should fly.

I do have a few mentors in the busines. I listen to some of their advise and make my way from there. Kevin has been there since day one with me. I shot him over the numbers on this bike and his reply.

Those #'s show the same kind of GAINS we see here.Knowing that dyno's do in
fact read different HP #'s, the bike should be able to do the 'bidness' at
the track.....

Thanks,

So did you finally buy a Gen-II BUSA to do some testing with or is this the same 1441 from before that made 195hp...?

GPW.Why Secondary's Removed I heard that you lose power when removed, because the secondary's injectors hit the butterfly that have an angle so the fuel when hit the butterfly flow to the head and when you remove them and the injectors start to work as they have a 90 degree angle or more compare to engine hit the throttle body and makes a turbulence that make you lose power.I was thinking in remove mine but when I looked at the K8 service manual i page 228 section 1D-9 i changed my mind. :beerchug:

no reason to remove them, you can retune them with ecu flashing, but yes i believe its been shown a few times loosing power removing them.

What are the average shown losses for removing them?

No disrespect intended but...This bike has a very very nice head on it. The secondaries are an air way obstruction at the least. But I tested the flies in and flies out theory on 235 ZX-14's and on two Hayabusa's. I like them out, its my way. I do a lot of testing because I don't like copying what everyone else does. It does shorten the learning curve some but all you get is what everyone else is doing. I like the secondary's out and if I lost two HP or gained 5 in the mid-range...............they will always come out. Oh yeah, two power commanders. Furthermore this package will be in all my 1441's from here on out. Testing is now complete. This bike is the strongest to date on my machine on motor on pump gas... still learning. Also build one. One thing is for sure...anyone can bolt on a turbo.

On ZX-14's there was a 22 foot pound of torque increase with them out at 4500 rpms, over and over again. Better....head like the Busa, bigger cams they must come out. :beerchug:
