Big-Bore Gen II with Brock's Alien Head

hrm. wonder what a combo like this would do at 13:1 and 1397cc's. gah, need to quit thinking like that, lol.

But the zx14 only have one set of injectors(4) and the busa two set(8). I think if there is any how to change their position like lower ones you will have better flow and a posible HP gains. Im just guesing because Im a beginner in performance but i like to read and heard other experience mechanics. :beerchug:

I want to ad I have the upmost respect for Petrik, he's a genuis. different theories..thats all

Yep, pump gas

See you in the morning. Its all polished, four times and ready to go. Fresh Mobile One in the machine. Changed the oil three times, crystal clear. No issues with voltage hot or cold. No issues with strecthting your tri-cep muscles....may take me a while to get rolling in the morning. It will be fun. 11:00 a.m

You are correct! Some people like to learn the hard way...

right on mang ;)
We are cool Greg, its just tough to have to climb a hill every day. I have eight years left. I want to be known as a guy mentioned with some of the best. 50, is eight years away. Who else will be in that group of guru's then. Gosh I hope these future years are good. Getting there the honest way. :beerchug:

Here is my take on the upper injectors. They do not come on till 7K because there has to be enough pull or vortex to pull the air/fuel into the intake track. Not doing so could cause fuel to pool if they came on lower in the rpm range. Do they have an effect on peak power. Yes, add 17% more fuel and they work great. :beerchug:

When used in conjuction with NOS its almost like having a wet system, adding fuel with the upper injectors only....

So what made you quit police work after 16-years to tinker with bikes...?

So greg,My 1441 has stock cams with adjustable cam sprockets, stock head.Je pistons.I am using a PCV for the tuning. So with your findings it sounds like I am leaving some power on the table?Any input would be nice. Thanks

I saw your questions and I never got the dyno sheets from you, please resend. I would be very curious to know all of your clearance numbers piston to head and piston to valve as they can mean as much as a 10 HP difference in some cases. Feel free to post your dyno sheet on this thread if you wish. But those clearance numbers are where the power is, if the head can flow and the cams are timed. I also don't want to get it in the middle of your builder and your bike. I am also still learning myself.

Jason just left my shop, he spent four hours here with me. He took a twenty minute ride and his verbal response was "the bike feels like it has double the power it had" he stated he knows that is not the case but that is what he could describe the change as.

So imagine what that feels like on a Gen II Busa, no pause, no delay when you crack the throttle. For me thats all I can live for doing this kind of work. Bike repeated the numbers on the dyno and he left here a very happy man. :beerchug:

Thanks greg, the work is done so no worries as far as the builder. My biggest thing is finding a tuner that will or can tune with 2 power commanders,or a ECU tune.As far as the clearance numbers I can check on that. and I will try to scan a Dyno sheet and put it on this thread. Thanks again.
