Beat Rev to a pulp today!

I'd been beating Revlis up for a couple of months. "gotta ride a quad man". Well today was the day. He hasn't been on dirt in like 15 years, and never on a quad.

He did really well (after we put duct tape on his boots to keep him on the pegs) We even got to practice some first aid on a co-worker due to his YZ 125 footpeg puncturing his calf! (yummy).

This is one of the reasons I joined the boards, to beat him to the story!

Allright, so I suck and didn't get any shots of the terrain but I'll tell ya it was rocky/Stumpy, rough, and kinda scary in places...

Lets just say class was in, here's MB giving Ed and myself some tips on NOT wading up the Quads on steep inclines...

Was a damn good time, but I'll tell ya. Banging through the trails on on four wheels is a crap load of work...

So yeah I left the house at O dark thirty and proceeded to get worked... Been a long time since I had been off-road and this being my first time on a real quad in real terrain I was a little edgy... After a couple of hours though, I was starting to feel comfortable, worn the hell out, but comfortable.

Hell I even rode a YZ125 today, after our bro took a puncture in the calf. Messy wound but he's going to be just fine. Here's Chris..

MB (Maggie's Boy) sacrificed a fresh T-shirt and we got the bleeding stopped enough to get him moved out of the woods.

It was a bummer that his day got cut short though, we had only been out for about 45min or so... We propped him up on the raptor, and rolled him out, I hoped on his YZ and motored a 2-stroke...

Actually I think the whole adventure was just an excuse for me to get some sweet new gear.... Dunno how well the Bell Moto7 would work on the Busa

but it works good on the Zuma, and on the quad. Yeah, pretty sure it's dirt all over that ugly mug... Who would have thought huh?
