Well bad news in my unit yesterday, we had a casualty from an IED. His name was brian, a friend of mine. He was only 20 years old

Kind of gives me chills about the whole situation because the two other guys in the humvee were really good friends unsure if they hurt but I was originally supposed to go with the other two but because I broke my ankle on the busa I was unable to go. So I very fortunate, because I can't help thinking it could've been me in the explosion.

The Busa saved my life...Maybe

Please pray for his family and friends.

Here is a pic of him

Very sad. Atleast he was fighting for us, and not out OD'ing on drugs. That means alot. I really admire the people that fight for us and our freedom!!!!

Yeah he was from Herrin, I grew up with his older brother.

His family is having a very rough month.

In the last month they had several friends that were killed in the car wreck in Marion, His Grandpa died, and a cousin died. So this is not helping his family out at all.

Sorry to hear man, prayers going up. They have a special on the news every evening called "Fallen Heroes" where they highlight a soldier who has paid the ultimate sacrifice for the blanket of freedom under which we sleep. "Wars and rumors of wars"...Thank you Brian.

Sorry to hear about it. One life is one to many for an unjust cause.

Hopefully he did not die in vain and we can get something out of this war other than more youngsters dead before their time. The people over there still don't appreciate the US and the price being paid all around.

May he rest in peace.
