Sorry for the loss of your friend. I hope only that if anything happened like that I would be so lucky to have a friend like you there to help.

I'm sure your friend sensed that you were by his side.

We all know every time we fire up the Busa it can easily have us at its mercy. I have two young boys and think of them every time i am on the bike or have a close call. But I have them riding in the dirt now and dred the day they say "can i get a sportbike dad"

Anyways, prayers are with you and family

I feel for the loss. I was an ARMY man a while ago. My prayers go out to the ones around him.

I never let anyone in my family leave the house on a bad note. I don't want the last thing said to be regretted by the one who survives, should something like that happen.

I read this a little while on the Army Knowledge Online. Was this the accident.

PRELIMINARY LOSS REPORT 0536

MOTORCYCLE CRASH CLAIMS 1 LIFE -- ACCIDENT

A 25th ID Soldier died in a motorcycle accident on 30 Mar 05 at 1700 local in Wahiawa, HI. The 33 year-old operator (SSG) lost control of his motorcycle in a turn, crossed the oncoming traffic lane, went into the grass and crashed into a light pole. Soldier was wearing personal protective equipment. Speed is expected to be a factor. Soldier had completed the Motorcycle Safety Course in April 2004.

There have been 26 Class A-C Privately Owned Motorcycle accidents from the start of FY05 to the date of this accident, resulting in 13 Soldier deaths.

Either way sorry for the loss, and prayers go out to his and you and your family.

Be Safe....Come back alive
