Another Exhaust Thread

I always wanted to hear those FMF Apex mufflers in person. They look pretty good and FMF is one the top off road exhaust companies in the world so I imagine they're excellent quality. I wish they had it in a full single-sided system.

They do look good. I've never seen them here but I would certainly consider them for my '06.

Now you see why I bought the single!

Check with some people, I did not pay full price.... SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

The new Brock's pipe is an awesome choice and makes power very nicely. The price tag is a bit hefty, but seems well worth it. My buddy went from a full single-sided muzzy on his GenI to the same Brock's Ludicrous has and the power gain and exhaust sound were both noticeably improved.

Of course the bike isn't going to grenade if it isn't dyno tuned right away, but it's not like these exhaust companies are recommending a complete dyno tune for no reason at all. After seeing and feeling how smooth my bike was after a dyno tune, I would recommend it to anyone that is going to run a full system, good air filter and fuel programmer.

The only reason I wanted to put a dual system on my bike was because It was quieter. I really did not want the extra weight and clutter of a second muffler. It is a PITA to clean behind one, let alone two!

And as far as welds go, my Brocks pipe has welds that are pure exhaust porn!
