Aluminum Trailers.

I was looking for a good lightweight trailer to be able to tow my Busa or my Busa and another bike with my 3000GT.

I would like for it to be able to be set up as towing just one in the middle or two (one on each side.) Is there such a thing made or do you all have any recommendations?

Thanks
-Mike

3000GT mitsu? I would start with a better tow vehicle, With 2 bikes and a trailer your looking at 1200 lbs. I dont think it would be in your best intrests to use a sports car to tow.

It's an all wheel drive twin turbo that is currently putting down 300AWHP. It's tow worthy.

Now back to the question.

Recommendations for a trailer?

(thepushercg @ Jan. 25 2007,07:52) yes there is a trailer made like this
heres one link to a site that makes them
forgive me for not clarifying, I was looking for a frame (open air) trailer. Thanks for the idea though.

I'm looking for an open air, just a frame trailer that can be adjusted from 1 bike to two bikes. I've seen them towed by eclipses without a problem. I'm seen VR-4's tow enclosed trailers. This is NOT the point. I know the capability of my vehicle and think that this issue needs to be dropped. I'll just keep reporting off topic posts.

(OBXboost @ Jan. 25 2007,07:46) I really am not interested in opinions of what I am using to tow.  I appreciate the concern, but it no where comes close to even addressing my question.

I have a 91 camaro, while I don’t use it for a primary tow vehicle, I did install a hidden hitch on it http://www.hiddenhitch.com/ so if I needed to I could tow my busa with my Camaro. which no one has ever said anything to me about it, but I know due to the camaro's unibody construction it is not a good idea to tow anything with a camaro. But I have towed my bike to Arizona and back with it and I have it as an option if I need it. but I have a truck also so I have no needed to use it in along time for towing

For a trailer I went to harbor freight and purchased a trailer you put together yourself. After you put it together you can go to DMV and register it.

Here are a few trailers you might want to look at

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=93747

Here is the one I have

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=42708

Here larger capacity trailers from them

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=90154

Otherwise if you want an enclosed trailer I don’t have any advice on that. I know an enclosed trailer is going to probably run you at least $3000.00 or more for a decent one. Have no idea where to tell you to look for something that would work with your vehicle

Good luck

I deleted a few posts here.

Lets keep it on topic. He seems fully aware it is not the best tow vehicle out there.

Ok you want to tow, Do a google search for trailer in a bag. You can tow up to 2 bikes and it breaks down to a duffle sized bag that will fit in the trunk of your car just in case you have to drop the bike off at the dealer for service. This makes it easy to take the trailer home without having to tow it unloaded (they tend to bounce around unloaded).
Good luck!
