Hey all,
After 20+ years and 85,000 miles, I sold the Busa. Yup my Gen 1 2003 Anni Orange bike is onto its next owner. In summer '23 I decided it was a time for a change. I landed on the '23 GSX S1000GT+ Black. Great bike, smoooooooth quick shifter and saddle bags!

If anyone remembers me.. (lol) Let me know.

Sorry to see you sell, but glad you got the bike you wanted! The orange didn't set well with me in the beginning, after seeing yours and a few others it kind of grew on me.

The Suzuki Gsxs1k has really grown on me.
I really liked the naked version when they updated it a few years ago, and then the GT came out, I don't think it looks as good with the nose and windshield, but as most of us know the wind without them will wear you out after a while, so I would want the GT.
I don't need another bike either...but I really want to ride one...which means I probably shouldn't, lol, but it's the only new bike that appeals to me.

Wouldn't it have been great if Suzuki built the 1000GT+ around the Busa engine? You'd automatically have the best sport touring bike on the planet.

Well it has taken me a couple days to recover, and I had to deal with the 4 letter W word - Work. But it’s a good story and I better tell it before I forgit the good parts. I am going to do it in segments so Gpmo can put in his $.02 in, and it’s way pic heavy! We took over 500 shots on this trip.

Gpmo-aka Paul showed up at my place Tuesday evening, oh I donno, 6pm ish. I was busy wrapping burgers with bacon. Paul brought 90 shilling brats. :thumbs: they were great smoked. Oh and he also brought a 6re of Old Chub! That im drinking right now. :cheers:
