I dont get to do a whole lot of custom work these days. I paint day in day out doing nothing but insurance work at the shop. I got to paint this cabinet for one of the bodyguys. figured i'd share the pics with you all:thumbsup:

hand made PPG logo, painted with the same silver the doors are, just tinted darker with black. then i water effected the whole thing. did it about a week and a half ago i think. repayment for some work:D

That is one nice lookin storage compartment. I really like the water effect you did. I have seen this effect a couple of times. Would be cool to see this done on a custom painted helmet. :thumbsup:

I was just looking at the pics and thought whats the big deal with a PPG cabinet and why show them wet so then I read. Man that is a very sweet paint job :thumbsup:

It appears to me to be indented then cleared over and smoothed.

Done with my paint gun, some paint,and some clear.....:-)

I will tell you its regular urethane paint and i use actual water when I do the effect. Can't give away all us painters secrets. ;)
